Overview

The 18 Days/17 Nights birding and wildlife in Uganda safari combine the following.

Day 1:

The arrival Time being 08:20am, KLM we will Transfer as we are Birding

Day 2:

Morning for another try of the shoebill stork.

Day 3:

Birding Through Budongo for Puvels Illadpsis.

Day 4:

Morning Game Drive in the savannah towards the Nile Delta 

Day 5:

Transfer to Kibale and overnight. Chimpanze Guest House Cottages

Day 6:

Morning Birding and Monkeys and overnight. 

Day 7: 

Road Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 8:

 Morning Game drive in the Savannah and afternoon Boat Trip.

Day 9:

Game drive as we transfer to Ishasha 

Day 10: 

Game Drive in the Morning in the ishasha sector.

Day 11: 

Morning Birding and Afternoon Relax overnight.

Day 12:

Road Transfer to Ruhija the Eastern Part of Bwindi and Birding.

Day 13:

Gorilla Tracking day and Overnight Broadbill Forest Camp BLD

Day 14:

Birding and Relax at Ruhija

Day 15: 

Road Transfer to Lake Mburo.

Day 16:

Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat ride

Day 17:Birding lake Mburo inside the park and Transfer to Entebbe 

Day 18: Transfer to The Airport to catch Uganda Airlines

Itinerary

Day 1:The arrival Time being 08:20am, KLM we will Transfer as we are Birding

to Nkima lodge before Birding Mabamba swamp,the following day.but this will allow us to try.

the first chance of the shoebill in the evening with other birds and in the Forest at Nkima lodge.

Day 2: Morning for another try of the shoebill stork and orange weaver,whyn’s Weaver and lots of other apps.

18 days/17 nights

Road Transfer as we are Birding to lots of birds to be found during the transit,

like Hartlaubs marsh widow bird,White-crested Turaco and more and overnight at Masindi Hotel.

Day 3:

Birding Through Budongo for Puvels Illadpsis and cross to the Northern

Bank of the Nile River. Thus visiting the Top of Murchison falls and Overnight Twiga Tale

Lodge now called Hornibill Safari Lodge BLD

Day 4: Morning Game Drive in the savannah towards the Nile Delta and Overnight.

Overnight Twiga Tale Lodge/Hornbill Safari Lodge FB

Day 5:

Transfer to Kibale and overnight. Chimpanze Guest House Cottages

Day 6: Morning Birding and Monkeys and overnight. Chimpanze Guest House BLD (Cottages to be booked)

Day 7:Road Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and overnight.

Overnight Pumba Safari Lodge BLD

Day 8:

Morning Game drive in the Savannah and afternoon Boat Trip on the Channel and overnight. Overnight Pumba Safari Lodge BLD

Day 9: Game drive as we transfer to Ishasha and . Overnight Topi Lodge BLD

Day 10: Game Drive in the Morning in the Ishasha sector in search for the tree climbing lions plus other games

And Afternoon Transfer to Buhoma and Overnight Buhoma Community Camp BLD

Day 11: Morning Birding and Afternoon Relax overnight. Overnight Buhoma Community Camp BLD

Day 12: Road Transfer to Ruhija the Eastern Part of Bwindi and Birding at the Neck.

Ovenight Broadbill Forest Camp BLD

Day:13: Gorilla Tracking day and Overnight Broadbill Forest Camp BLD

Day 14: Birding and Relax at Ruhija or Birding on the Balcony.

Tjere is an option of descending to the Mubwindi Swamp for the African Green-Broadbill and overnight.

Take note that this walk can be strenuous but we will plan the day.

Depending on the previous day Overnight Broadbill Forest Camp BLD

Day:15: Road Transfer to Lake Mburo.

Overnight Rwakobo Rock (Hornbill House) DB –to book room at the extreme end no middle room.

Day 16: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat ride while birding on Lake Mburo and overnight. Overnight Rwakobo Rock BLD.

Day 17: Birding lake Mburo inside the park in the morning and afternoon.

Then transfer to Entebbe thus overnight at Green Valley Guest House.

Day 18: Transfer to The Airport to catch Uganda Airlines to Dar-es-Salaama

Tanzania.

Flight is scheduled at 11:45hrs.
