Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo West

Pick up from your hotel at 0800 hrs depart for Tsavo West National Park which lies roughly half way between Nairobi and the Coast.

Mzima Springs, the chief marvel here is a favorite haunt of hippos and crocodiles.

Arrival at your Kilaguni Serena Lodge will be in time for lunch.

An early evening game drive to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, eland, rhino and wide variety of antelope.

Return to Kilaguni Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tsavo West

Day 3: Tsavo West – Amboseli
Amboseli National park

Depart after breakfast for Amboseli National Park arriving in good time for lunch. Lunch at a lodge followed by full afternoon game drives.

Dinner and overnight at SataoEleraiAmboseli Camp

Amboseli Park (at 392 sq km) is the second most popular park in Kenya.

After Maasai Mara, mainly due to the spectacular backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the southern boundary.

Day 4/5: Amboseli National park
Full Days spend in Amboseli with early morning and evening game drives.

Whilst in the park, you will have the opportunity to photograph the animals against the wonderful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

All meals and overnight will be at your SataoEleraiAmboseli Camp.

Day 6: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast drive to towards the Great Rift Valleywith lunch in Nairobi ,arrival wil be in the evening .

Afternoon will be at your leisure, with the opportunity of going on a nature walk.

Hiring a boat to take you the famous Crescent Island, or simply relaxing by the swimming pool.

Dinner and overnight at the NaivashaSopa lodge

Day 7: L.Naivasha – Mara

We depart the lodge soon after breakfast and proceed to Masai Mara to arrive in good time for Lunch.

Late afternoon game drives followed by dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 8/9: Masai Mara

Full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5 – Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person.

Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena Lodge.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here.

You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas.

Including jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.

It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place.

This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.

Day 10: Masai Mara.

Full day spent exploring the park. Dinner and overnight stay at Ashnil Mara Camp.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here.

You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs.

Others are hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.

It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place.

This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.

Day 11: Masai Mara – L.Elementaita

After breakfast drive to towards the Great Rift Valley. Arrival at Lake Elementaita will be in time for lunch at the Lake Elementaita Serena Lodge.

The remainder of the afternoon will be at your leisure, or simply relaxing by the swimming pool.

Dinner and overnight at the Lake Elementaita Serena Lodge.

Day 12: L.Elementaita – Lake Bogoria

You will enjoy your breakfast and later embark into a drive to Lake Bogoria.

You will arrive in good time to check in at Lake Bogoria Spa Resort.
The lake is a shallow soda lake set amidst beautiful scenery.

Like the other Kenyan soda lakes, it has no outlet and the intense evaporation leads to high levels of salt and minerals.

Which flamingos love and from a distance the surface of the water appears bright pink.

Next to the lake are steaming hot springs and geysers, but don’t be tempted to put your hands into the water if you are at all fond of your skin!

Day 13: L.Bogoria – OlPejeta

Break fast then drive to Mount Kenya Region. Lunch at a Sweetwater’s tented camp.

Then proceed for afternoon game drives at Sweetwater’s sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the Sweet waters Tented camp

Sweetwater’s is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya of these widely abused chimpanzees.

With two groups living in an environment as close to their natural habitat as possible.

The site is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area.

Day 14: OlPejeta

Full Day spent exploring the Sanctuary,with morning and afternoon game drive, overnight .

Dinner and overnight at the Sweet waters tented camp.

Day 15: OlPejeta – Samburu.

After breakfast depart for Samburu passing through hush farmlands, cross the Equator where you can stop for pictures.

Proceed to Samburu to a rugged semi desert region.

It is noted for game not found to the more lush parks to the south e.g. unusual reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Oryx and many more.

Lunch at a lodge followed by afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Bedroom Camp

Day 16: Samburu Game reserve

Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drive. (Optional visit to Samburu villages).

Meals and overnight Elephant Bedroom Camp

The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests.

It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage.

The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopard, hippo,

others are elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra and crocodile in the EwasoNyiro River.

Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries.

Day 17: Samburu-Nairobi

Pre breakfast game drives then return to the lodge for breakfast , return to Nairobi drop off at Palacina Suites for overnight.

Day 18: Nairobi – David Sheldrick Trust Visit.

After breakfast, you will have a tour of Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi at 1100hrs to 1200hrs.

Later on you will have lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden restaurant before another afternoon private visit to the Elephant Sanctuary at 1500hrs for an hour.

You will have the last visit at 1700hrs, for the foster parents.

You will have ample time with the keepers who will furnish you with all the information regarding the baby Elephants.

Day 19: Departure.

Breakfast at leisure then later transfer to the airport for your flight back home as per the schedule.
