This 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking tour takes you through either Entebbe or Kampala.
As you get to the African wildlife through the busy highway to the southern route.
Having a stop at the equator for some photos and may be a cup of tea or coffee.
Proceed to the rolling hill to the western route lunch half way distance in Mbarara.
As u go through beautiful rolling hills of Kabale the Switzzland of Africa to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
This forest is also home to 120 mammals, 51 reptiles, 310 butterfly species.
27 species of frogs, geckos, chameleons, 163 tree species, 104 fern species, 1000 flowering plants.
As well as over 352 species of birds the worlds rare species called the ARE’s (Albertan rift Endemics)
On which Bwindi has 24 species of the 35 worlds rare species that survive in only the Albertine rift valley and others.
Gorilla trekking can take between 2 to 8 hours depending on where you encounter them, however extreemly worth the time.
It as those into hiking will have a great time climbing up and about the rolling hills, and going through the lush vegetation.
Day 1: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park 8-9hrs (463.7 Km) via Masaka Road.
Day 2:
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest.
Day 3: Departure back to Kampala/Entebbe
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked up by our guide from airport/ hotel in Entebbe/ Rwanda after an early morning breakfast at 07:00 hrs.
Our guide will brief you about the whole safari before you travel to Bwindi Impenetrable national park in southwestern Uganda.
Along the highway to Bwindi we have a stopover at a local drum and craft making community so you will have a visit here.
And another stopover at the Equator to take photos.
Also feel free to buy some crafts and souvenirs as you head to Mbarara town.
In Mbarara you will have your lunch at IGONGO cultural center/Agip motel depending on hotel of your choice.
There after, proceed to Bwindi where by you will arrive in the late afternoon.
Check in at the lodge, relax in the evening and have Dinner and an overnight at your booked hotel/lodge

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in the Bwindi Forest
After an early morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters.
The part headquarters where you will be briefed by the park rangers about what to do and not to do while in the park.
You will be divided in group of 8. After continue and start off gorilla trekking these gentle giants as directed by the rangers.
This is a memorable and an amazing experience watching the Mountain gorillas feed, play around and also do their day to day activities.
This activity can take 2 hours or even up to 8 hours since its dependent on the location and movement of the gorillas.
Also expect to walk long distances in muddy and steep conditions- this will require you to have a walking stick.
On meeting the gorillas you will spend one hour with them as you take photos.
Later, return back to the lodge for lunch and in the evening you have a nature guided walk to visit the Batwa community.
This will expose you to their culture basing on how they live, dance,also stories concerning their culture which will leave you amazed.
Then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 : Departure back to Kampala
Have an early breakfast, check-out leaving the “Switzerland of Uganda” behind.
And start your journey back to the city passing through rolling hills with terraces.
Also you will have a great time viewing the lush vegetation of the different areas you will go through.
Have lunch in Mbarara at Agip Motel, proceed on the way to have an other stopover at Mbambire drum makers point.
If interested, you can buy some of these drums, then we proceed to Kampala arriving late afternoon.
The guide will drop you off to the hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home.
